12-18-23: Hello classmates, Jackson here again. I still occasionally update this site and I understand that there was a wonderful reunion this past year heartedly enjoyed by many of you. With the inevitable passing of time and of our friends, it's important to keep in touch. Sadly I have been keeping the Memorials section of this site up-to-date as well. And lastly, I've removed the Contact section due to the volume of spam I've been receiving. I'm mostly on Facebook these days, so say "Hey" over there if you're passing by. All the best to everyone for a healthy, happy, and prosperous 2024.
P.S. Apparently, the hosting service added those dopey graphics to our Home page when they performed a software upgrade. Oh my...
2-04-21: This is Jackson again. I'm working to add a Memorials section to this site; remembering our classmates who have passed away. A special Thanks to Lansing Hill and Kathy Totten for their help! Take good care.7-16-20: Per the Bluefield Daily Telegraph - "For the first time since 1937 there will be no Beaver-Graham high school football game. The Virginia High School League announced Wednesday the three options for high school sports this fall and none of them included playing football."5-29-20: This is Jackson again. Troy and I are going to be in town visiting relatives that weekend and at the suggestion of Bill Kidd we’ve reserved a spot at the Park for any of you who can stop by and reminisce and try to figure out how 40 years sped by so fast!
We know this is very short notice and strictly off the cuff! - it came about over the weekend after a spontaneous Facebook outburst!
If you can make it please bring a dish and drinks enough for yourself and a couple of others so we have enough to go around.
Classmates from other years that know us that are in the area, please feel free to join us with a pot luck dish!

8-26-13: It's looking doubtful there will be an official Class of 1978 reunion this year, but some of us will be at the Beaver-Graham game this coming Friday night, August 30. Hope to see you there!

It's free and a great tool for keeping in touch. By the way, this website will be staying up at least until our 35th Reunion in 2013. And it was great seeing so many familiar faces and visiting with Todd Shawver at this year's GHS vs. BHS football game. Todd is a regular on Facebook and he'd love to hear from you.5-04-10: Joe Stout is now back among the un-missing! Would love to hear anytime from everyone else too, missing or un-missing. 5-03-10: Just wanted to say "Hi!" and let everyone know that we're still here and ready to help plan our next reunion. We'll be looking to add some new features to the web site in the coming months, so stay tuned!
