I won't be able to make it, but I hope lots of classmates can attend the picnic on Saturday 15 September 2018 in Bluefield. Photos! Memories! Good times!

Sorry, but I did not realize I was counted "amongst the missing" until viewing our class web site. An open invitation to all; when visiting the Atlanta area we invite you to connect with us. Lisa (Richardson) Bechman, Vicki (Sarver) Lewis, Roy Lee Smith and myself schedule one evening a month for dinner and drinks. Would love for any classmates in town to join us. Our next gathering is this Friday, May 7 !  (If you will give us notice, we wil do our best to schedule around your visit.)

First of all, I apologize for my laziness in posting and trying to keep up with everyone.  I promise to do better. It\'s time to re-energize the gang (so-to speak).  Aside from the obvious internet  social outlets, we have our own class web-site (with a big thank you to Mr. Jackson Farley).  Jackson, if you could send our classmates a reminder of the web address with a list of "we\'re looking for folks" I\'ll talk David Hicks into buying our dinner one night soon

I really had a great time at the reunion.  I just didn't get time to talk to everybody there.  Big thanks to the committee for putting it all together.  I hate to wait another 5 years to see everybody again.  Maybe we can set up something informally that on a set weekend there will be a bring your own cook out in Bluefield, or Pipestem, something like that. No work for anybody just send out an email and let the chips fall as they may.

If anybody is in the Greenville NC area make sure to get in touch with me! Just google and you can find me!

First of all, thanks to the reunion committee for all of their hard work and efforts.  You guys did a fantastic job!  I was glad that Shari and I got to make it to this reunion, even though I had to drag her by her feet to get her there.  Just kidding.  She had a blast too, and just think, she went to Beaver.

It was good seeing everybody and we're excited about the 35th reunion.  Maybe by then, we will have all DNA results back and can fill in the questionnaire with surety. :)  Hopefully we won't have anymore grandkids to add to the list.

Take care and God bless everyone.

It was so nice to see each and every one of you at our reunion.  I still can’t believe it’s been that long! Can't remember when I smiled and laughed so much in one weekend. I will think of you all and the weekend we shared for some time to come.

Thank you Melinda, Dave, Jackson and Scott for the time and effort you spent putting this together. You are appreciated!

Dave & Yogi – you guys crack me up, I am still laughing! Wish I could get back home more often – some day!

I would love to hear from any and all of you any time.  757-291-9159 or email at todd@shawver.us Photos welcome!!

Be safe, take care, and God bless.

Your friend and classmate,

Todd

Hello, all -

Just got back from the Saturday night festivities, and I gotta tell you, it was a BLAST.  As David Hicks himself noted, I don't think there was a moment all night I wasn't either laughing or smiling.  It was wonderful to see everyone again.  I think what struck me most (apart from how young everyone looks - God, we have a good-looking class) was how there were no lines anymore.  No cliques, no uppers and lowers on the totem pole, just people who've lived lives and were happy to be where they were and who they were with. And it doesn't get any better than that.

As I said in the questionnaire, I only have fond memories of GHS days, and tonight was the perfect compliment to those.  I'm still kind of grinning, by the way.

Anyone who wants a picture or just to say hi, please e-mail me.

(And now, after all that wine, I have to try and read the security code numbers....)

Our 30th was the first of the reunions that I was able to attend.  I am so very glad I did!  Many thanks to the reunion committee for all of their hard work.  It was wonderful to see everyone and I hope we can do it again @ 35.

Hi all...for those of you who made it to the reunion, it was really great seeing you and I had a blast!!!  For those of you who live local and didn't show up, just because, "Shame on ya!" ...You missed one helluva good time. Try and make it to the next one!

Hi all,

I am so excited about our reunion!  I can't wait to sit and have a chance to catch up with everyone.  The last 30 years have flown by.  I still feel 18 inside.

For the past 2.5 years, I've been living in Hoover, Alabama, just south of Birmingham. It gets really hot here for a mountain girl.

Special thanks to the committee for all your efforts (especially to you Melinda for tracking me down).  We will be there for all the activities. I am especially looking forward to the tour of GHS.

I would love to hear from my classmates.  Please drop me a line and feel free to send pictures at Teresa.Douglas@odnss.com.

Due to a fire where my parent's lost their home, two weeks before my wedding in 1980, I do not have any of our yearbooks.  If anyone has any pictures or an extra yearbook I would gladly pay for a copy or scanned pictures.  My kids do not believe me when I tell them I "played at" sports.

I hope the years have been kind to you all.  I feel greatly blessed.

See you all soon...Teresa

Just say "Hey"!

Living in western North Carolina in the small town of Brevard.  Gettin' older by the minute.  I am planning on being at the reunion to see if anyone is older or more bald than I am.
